International Women’s Day & Holi Celebration Organized by IMA Lucknow & LOGS

7 Mar 2026, Lucknow: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Lucknow, in collaboration with the Lucknow Obstetrics and Gynecological Society (LOGS), organized a grand celebration of International Women’s Day and Holi at IMA Bhawan, Lucknow. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 200 doctors and members, making the evening vibrant and memorable.

The program was graced by the Chief Guest, Hon. Dr. Babita Singh Chauhan, Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission. In her address, she appreciated the immense contribution of women doctors in society and encouraged continued efforts towards women’s empowerment and leadership in healthcare.

The event was organized under the guidance of IMA President Dr. Manoj Kumar Asthana in collaboration with LOGS President Dr. Priti Kumar. IMA Honorary Secretary Dr. Shweta Srivastava managed and coordinated the entire program. The evening featured cultural performances, musical presentations, and a celebration of the achievements of women in the medical field.

On this special occasion, the International Women’s Achiever Award 2026 was conferred upon distinguished women doctors for their remarkable contributions to medicine and society. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Shweta Srivastava stated that IMA will continue to recognize and honor such achievers in the coming years.

The program also featured lively musical performances that added to the festive spirit of the evening. The event was supported by ICICI Bank and Chandan Hospital, which also contributed to the academic component of the program through a Medical CME initiative.
