IMA Kanpur Holds General Body Meeting; Key Office Bearers Elected Unanimously

21 Jan 2026, Kanpur : General Body Meeting of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Kanpur Branch was held at the Seminar Hall, Parade, Kanpur, under the chairmanship of the President of IMA Kanpur, Dr. Anurag Mehrotra.

During the meeting, the following office bearers were elected:
Dr. Gaurav Chawla was unanimously elected as Assistant Director, IMA CGP, and Dr. Sarad Damele was unanimously elected as Assistant Secretary, IMA CGP.

In the same sequence, for the IMA AMS Kanpur Sub-Chapter, Dr. Kunal Sahay was elected as Chairman and Dr. Mohit Khatri as Secretary. On this occasion, Dr. S. K. Gautam was elected as Chief Editor of IMA News and Views. Additionally, 24 delegates for National IMA and 48 delegates for State IMA were also elected.

Congratulating all the newly elected representatives, IMA Kanpur President Dr. Anurag Mehrotra expressed confidence that under the leadership of Dr. Gaurav Chawla, the IMA CGP Kanpur Sub-Faculty would achieve new heights. He further stated that under his leadership, the upcoming CGP programs would focus on enriching knowledge through various interesting and relevant topics.
