Kanpur Diabetes Association Holds General Body Meeting; New Office Bearers Elected

14 June 2026, Kanpur: The General Body Meeting of the Kanpur Diabetes Association (KDA) was held at Hotel Royal Cliff, Kanpur. The primary objective of the meeting was the election of new office bearers and deliberations on important administrative and financial matters related to the association.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Brij Mohan, Dr. Nandini Rastogi, Dr. S.K. Bhatter, Dr. Bhaskar Ganguly, Dr. Deepak Yagnik, Dr. Rishi Shukla, Dr. R.K. Jais, Dr. Vipin Srivastava, Dr. Kunal Sahay, Dr. Vishal Gupta, Dr. Ritesh Chaudhary, Dr. Inderjit Singh Ahuja, and other esteemed members of the association.

Following detailed discussions and deliberations, the General Body unanimously elected and approved the following office bearers:

Patron: Dr. Brij Mohan
President: Dr. Ritesh Chaudhary
Secretary: Dr. Kunal Sahay
Scientific Secretary: Dr. Vishal Gupta
Joint Secretary: Dr. R.K. Jais

The General Body also unanimously resolved to extend the tenure of Dr. Anurag Mehrotra as Treasurer and Dr. Vipin Srivastava as Vice President, recognizing their valuable contributions and to ensure continuity and further strengthening of the association’s activities.

During the meeting, outgoing President Dr. Bhaskar Ganguly and senior diabetologist Dr. Nandini Rastogi congratulated the newly elected office bearers and expressed confidence that the new team would take the objectives of the Kanpur Diabetes Association to greater heights through academic initiatives, public awareness programs, and improved diabetes care services.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to all members for their active participation and support. The proceedings were conducted in a cordial and constructive atmosphere.
