KOGS Organizes First Scientific Meeting Under Its Newly Elected Executive Committee
11 July 2026, Kanpur: The Kanpur Obstetric and Gynaecological Society (KOGS) successfully organized its first scientific meeting under the leadership of its newly elected Executive Committee. It may be recalled that the new committee was constituted on July 4, 2026, with Dr. Kanchan Sharma assuming the office of President and Dr. Renu Tandon taking charge as Secretary.
The scientific session witnessed enthusiastic participation from senior obstetricians and gynaecologists, medical faculty members, and resident doctors from across the city. The meeting focused on Endometriosis, with experts discussing its early diagnosis, recent advances in treatment, and comprehensive patient management strategies.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Meera Agnihotri, congratulated the newly elected Executive Committee and expressed confidence that the new leadership would play a significant role in promoting academic excellence and professional development among obstetricians and gynaecologists in the Kanpur region.
The newly elected Executive Committee reaffirmed its commitment to organizing regular scientific meetings, Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, and other academic activities aimed at enhancing the knowledge and clinical skills of healthcare professionals.
